Wayne Strope, PE

Owner / President

Mr. Strope graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1996. He is a Professional Engineer licensed is 8 states with over 23 years combined experience in the mechanical engineering and mechanical construction fields. He has served as a project manager and designer on numerous projects involving HVAC, plumbing, power distribution systems, fire alarm systems and fire sprinkler systems. Areas of expertise include geothermal systems, chilled water systems, hot water systems, steam systems, HVAC control systems, electrical distribution systems, lighting systems, and fire protection systems. Projects range from small retail areas to steam and chilled water power plants.

Rob Latimer

Designer / Drafter

Mr. Latimer’s career has spanned 25 years. He graduated from State Technical College of Missouri, Linn, MO in 1990 with an Associate of Technology Degree in Design Drafting. His project experience includes fire stations, banks, restaurants, institutional facilities, offices, schools and commercial buildings. Latimer prepares contractor drawings for submittal and field installation. He has assembled kitchen equipment cut sheets for submittal to architects and consultants. He has prepared operations and maintenance manuals for kitchen equipment and equipment setup training for kitchen staff. He works with product representatives to provide bids for clients. Specific areas of expertise include 17 years M/E/P design, AutoCAD, Revit and extensive computer knowledge

Josh Shumaker

Designer / Drafter

Mr. Shumaker joined our firm after 20 years of M/E/P drafting experience; he is a valuable member of the MMEA team contributing extensive knowledge of all phases of M/E/P drafting, as well as general design layout. He graduated from State Technical College of Missouri, Linn, MO with an Associate of Science Degree in Design Drafting.

Shane Parnell

Designer / Drafter

Mr. Parnell came to our firm after 10 years of M/E/P design and drafting experience. He graduated in 2008 from the University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg, MO with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer-Aided Drafting (Architectural/Civil).
He is proficient in all AutoCad programs including Inventor 2008, Autodesk Architectural, and Revit.
Mr. Parnell has worked with the several design teams to produce a clear, complete and accurate working plan and detail drawings. He also has used his knowledge of various engineering design practices, mathematics, and building materials.
He enjoys handling numerous jobs and is committed to meeting project goals, benchmarks, and producing a quality drawing for the client. His goal is to expand his professional skills and provide excellent service to the client.
